BRIEF

Personal Project to assigned in Special Studies while enrolled in the BFA program at CSULB.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project was something of my own making. Through tireless nights sitting in front of a computer screen and having all my programs fail to render, I began to question if this was all worth it. Computer failures, broken drives, unsaved files, etc., all of these things make you go mad in the industry and it's hard to deal with. This is where my concept derived from, to find these broken files through motion. I had listened to the song "ARCHIVE SEVEN by PILOTPRIEST" for some time and was always visualizing these files sorting through themselves to find missing links.

In the end, this was truly made for me to have a better understanding of XYZ space in After Effects through Camera Moves, Depth of Field, Trapcode Form, Trapcode Mir, etc. And yes, I came to the conclusion that it is worth it, because it always leaves you wanting more. Ill loose myself in an After Effects file more then any other program I work in. It amazing to see things form from scratch then come to life with such excitement.
